Here is the idea. I have done this little sketch below, and YOU will come up with the greater story. Then I will illustrate it out by Friday. I was very excited by the response I got for Reginald, but I thought it would be fun to expand it further, so that you can really influence the final image.
So, post your ideas as a comment by the end of Thursday, then I will mix and match them, and illustrate out the result. The degree to which you use the sketch below is up to you- is he jumping or sitting? Is he angry or concentrating? Is he the main character or is there something greater going on that he is reacting to? It is up to YOU! Have fun.

This was the last time Lord Kawaguchi would ever double cross his sought-after undercover ninja spy, Yoshi. After their last incident, they finally reconciled and agreed to work together again, after much debate (and a generous remuneration to Yoshi). But this–this was not about money or loyalty–anymore.

Rabbert Wryly was miffed. His creator, the Animest, had tired of him a third of the way into the scene. “Not sure about the ears,” the Animest had said to himself. (Rabbert had heard him, of course.)
The Animest was perplexed by Rabbert’s expression—the face he himself had created—and had left Rabbert in mid-air without a net, to run to the fridge, make an Asiago cheese and olive sandwich, and go sledding for an hour.
“Muscle cramps!”
“Don’t I have a say?” asked Rabbert, when the Animest returned. (The Animest didn’t answer. He was wearing headphones, cranked.)
“I like the ears,” said Rabbert, wryly. “I like the tights even though they’re a bit too… okay, I don’t like the tights. I’m not a flower kind of guy. So. Rabbit ears and flowered tights? Fine. But numero uno: I’m in pain. Erase me if you must, airbrush me. Rub me out . . . if you can do such a thing in good conscience. I do exist now, sort of.
“Better yet, how about sketching in a skateboard, a rebounder, the wing of a plane… a sled . . . Anything comin’ to mind? Hey! Where you going?”

Malthus continued to bounce higher and higher while the ideas in his head jumped hither and fro.
‘Enroll me in gymnastics? Tight, form-fitting pants? After school programming for ‘excessively exuberant youngsters’? ‘Trampoline time’?!
Each thought stemming from the last made him more upset than the one before. He stared down his mother, who was discussing the after school program with one if the instructors, Wade Bludgeonald. Malthus squinted to size up Wade as he continued to bounce.
‘I wanted to take karate lessons! I wanted to take jujitsu.’
His mother began to write a check to Wade. It began to sink in that this was his fate. So he set himself out with resolve.
‘If they’re gonna put me on this trampoline to burn off energy, I’m going to bounce so high I’ll get stuck up in the rafters. That’ll show ’em.’
So he began to do just that, bouncing higher and higher on each bounce…

Mallen: “He’s up… he’s through! They love it! They love him! For the second year in a row Bilfo has done it!”
Wright: “There’s a reason they call him the greatest fibbit in the sea.”
Mallen: “This is an incredible performance we’ve seen here today folks. I think Bilfo may not only be the best there is, he may be the best there ever was!”
Wright: “I don’t know if I’d go that far yet Mallen, but he is extremely impressive when he’s focused. I believe the Blue Hoop is set at 29 miks which would make this a new world record.”
Mallen: “And he cleared it cleanly.
Wright: “Only two years competing and already a first place finish, but can he keep it up? Don’t forget, next year we’ll be seeing the new Color Hoop Rules and three junior league competitors that were right on Bilfo’s tail before he went pro.”
Mallen: “Not to mention former champion, Fabat, Bilfo’s older brother who’ll be eligible again for the first time since their supposed falling out.”
Wright: “Oh yes, that could make for some interesting matchups.”

His name is 7. He is one of 8. He is a demi-god assigned to the western realm. The inhabitants of that realm have rebelled and are savagely attacking one another. 7 is pulling two storm systems together to teach them a long-awaited lesson… one they will never forget.
